About the event

A geographic information system (GIS) shapes how state and local government establish processes, workflows, policies, and engagement with citizens. It also enables agencies to constantly improve their environment, infrastructure, safety, health, and more.

When hosted on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud, Esri’s ArcGIS system offers unique capabilities and flexible licensing for applying location-based analytics to business practices. Agencies can use this technology to gain greater insights using contextual tools to visualize and analyze data, and can collaborate and share through maps, apps, dashboards and reports.

Join us to discover how ArcGIS is deployed, the tools available to manage GIS environments, and how AWS enables innovation for location intelligence. You’ll hear Chris Dickerson, land Information system analyst from Waukesha County, WI, also share his experience deploying ArcGIS infrastructure on AWS.

You’ll learn:

-        What makes ArcGIS unique

-        How ArcGIS is being deployed in the cloud

-        Resources to guide your journey to the cloud

-        Waukesha County's experience on AWS

Who should attend

This event is tailored for GIS/IT directors, managers, coordinators, and analysts from city, state, and county entities.
